My dream for humanity is that the people around the world will see that we were all once connected. Something tore the land apart and spread us throughout the different climates. We all formed religions and spiritual practices to honor the ONE higher source through various expressive outlets by those who were channeling it and men modified it to fit their own personal ideas. The very thing that religion was created for is being destroyed through beliefs that certain races are superior and closed minded wordings written in major, mass followed doctrines which state that their God is the only God, and their way is the only way. Which is true.. LOVE is the only way. All practices of Loving worship and compassion, respect for fellow brothers and sisters, and living a morally good, honest life which is fair to oneself and others is the way. No one path is against the doctrines and beliefs until we hate, judge, condemn, fight and kill. All religion from my point of view are these very things statee in a symbolic way and somewhat altered by men claiming to be speaking "God's Word" yet actually was formed from a personal interpretation and value place.
The world and its symbols shape our destinies. They help us control the mysterious, active force which existed long before we lived and will be exerted long after we are gone. Our goal is to move towards self-enlightenment and peace. Many of the characters portrayed in stories about God are of those soul’s who have lived a troubled conscience. These stories are teaching us that there is a need for self-scrutiny and self-understanding. We typically learn this through loneliness, hardship and trials if we are to learn at all unless we are born with that rare wisdom bestowed within us to see clearly this openess and love of God without the trials. Rare are those born with the true heart for humanity without knowing the trials of others firsthand and openly accepting those whose paths are not as “white". Many times, we do not even realize that the Divine hand is at work for ill or good in our lives today. God long ago removed himself from this world.
I feel personally that religion expresses symbols. Symbols are ways of making meaning known.
I believe that these symbols that I find in all religions teach us to find the path of self-introspection by the most private self-consciousness by a vision of a moral destiny that we have set for the over all destiny of the universe. Every thought is part of an infinitely “larger” thought which gives us our current moral understanding of the universe and molds our future understandings and beliefs.
